STATUTE LAW REVISION ACT 1981 No. 61, 1981 - SECT 36

36. Section 41 of the Principal Act is amended -

(a) by inserting in paragraph (1)(b) "full time military" after

"continuous";

   (b)  by omitting paragraph (1)(c) and substituting the following paragraph:

"(c) during any period for which he has volunteered to render continuous full
time military service,";

   (c)  by omitting from sub-section (1) "or of the Regular Army Reserve"; and

   (d)  by omitting sub-section (2) and substituting the following
        sub-section:

"(2) Whenever a soldier of the Regular Army Emergency Reserve claims his
discharge as provided by sub-section (1), he shall be discharged with all
convenient speed, but until he is discharged he remains a soldier of the
Regular Army Emergency Reserve.".
