- (1)
- A claim for maternity allowance must be made within 26 weeks after the
birth of the child to whom the claim relates.
- (2)
- A claim for maternity immunisation allowance must be made before the child
to whom the claim relates:
- (a)
- reaches the age of 2 years; or
- (b)
- would have reached that age if the child had not died.
- (3)
- If a claim referred to in subsection (1) or (2) is made after the time
fixed by that subsection, the claim is taken not to have been made.
