SOCIAL SERVICES AMENDMENT ACT 1978 No. 128, 1978 - SECT 10

Suspension of pension where allowance granted under Tuberculosis Act 
10. Section 48A of the Principal Act is amended by omitting sub-section (2)
and substituting the following sub-section:

''(2) This section does not apply in relation to-

   (a)  a permanently blind person; or

   (b)  a person who, having attained the age of 70 years, is in receipt of
        pension at the rate referred to in paragraph (c) or (d) of sub-section
        (2AB) of section 28, whichever is the appropriate rate.''.
