SOCIAL SECURITY (BUDGET AND OTHER MEASURES) LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1993 No. 121, 1993 - SECT 74

74. Section 1165 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting paragraph (1)(a) and substituting the following paragraph:

"(a) a person is qualified for a compensation affected payment; and";

   (b)  by omitting paragraph (2)(a) and substituting the following paragraph:

"(a) a person is qualified for a compensation affected payment; and";

   (c)  by omitting paragraphs (2)(d) and (e) and substituting the following
        paragraphs:

"(d) no compensation affected payment is payable to the person for the lump
sum preclusion period;

   (e)  no compensation affected payment is payable to the person's partner
        for the lump sum preclusion period;".
