SOCIAL SECURITY AND VETERANS' AFFAIRS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1989 No. 83, 1989 - SECT 13

13. Section 85 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting paragraph (7) (c) and substituting the following
        paragraph:

"(c) the taxable income of the person for the year of income in which the
request is made (in this subsection called the 'current year of income') is
likely to be at least 25% less than the taxable income of the person for the
last year of income of the person;";

   (b)  by omitting from subsection (7) "that following year of income" and
        substituting "the current year of income". Commencement: 1 July 1989
