SOCIAL SECURITY AND VETERANS' AFFAIRS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1990 No. 119, 1990 - SECT 25

25. (1) In this Part:

"amnesty period'' means the period from 22 August 1990 to 2 October 1990
(inclusive);

"Entitlements Act'' means the Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986;

"event'' includes a change of circumstances but does not include the making of
a false or misleading statement to an officer;

"pension'' means a pension, benefit or allowance under the Entitlements Act;

"transgression period'', in relation to a person, means the period:

   (a)  beginning on the earliest day before 22 August 1990 in respect of
        which the person received a pension; and

   (b)  ending on the expiration of 22 August 1990.

(2) Subject to subsection (1), except so far as the contrary intention
appears, expressions used in this Part have the same meaning as in the
Entitlements Act.
