SOCIAL SERVICES LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1982 No. 37, 1982 - SECT 44

Payments of pension, &c., on death of pensioner, &c.


44. (1) Section 146 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting '',
endowment'' (wherever occurring).

(2) Notwithstanding the amendments made by sub-section (1), a reference in
section 146 of the Social Services Act 1947 to allowance accrued and unpaid at
the date of the death of a person shall be read as including a reference to
child endowment under Part VI of the Principal Act accrued and unpaid at the
commencement of this section.
