SOCIAL SECURITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1992 No. 81, 1992 - SECT 113

113. Section 1261 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (1)
and substituting the following subsection:

"(1) If the application is sent or delivered to:

   (a)  an office of the Department; or

   (b)  an office of the CES; the Secretary must send the application to the
        National Convener as soon as practicable and in any case not later
        than 7 days after the application is received at the office of the
        Department or the CES. Note: 'CES' means Commonwealth Employment
        Service (see section 23).".
