SOCIAL SECURITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1992 No. 81, 1992 - SECT 9

9. Section 1194 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting from subsection (2) "(5) and (6)"and substituting "(5),
        (6) and (7)";

   (b)  by omitting from subsection (3) "(5) and (6)" and substituting "(5),
        (6) and (7)";

   (c)  by adding at the end the following subsection:

"(7) If a provisional indexed amount for a telephone allowance rate is not a
multiple of 80 cents, the indexed amount is the provisional indexed amount
rounded up to the nearest multiple of 80 cents.".
