SOCIAL SECURITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1993 No. 36, 1993 - SECT 11

Repeal of section 1235 and substitution of new section 
11. Section 1235 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section is
substituted:
Meaning of "debt" "1235. In this Part, 'debt' means:

   (a)  a debt recoverable by the Commonwealth under Part 5.2; or

   (b)  a debt under the 1947 Act. Note: Overpayments under section 1228 are
        not debts for the purposes of Part 5.2.".
