SOCIAL SECURITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1993 No. 36, 1993 - SECT 23

23. Section 975A of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (1)
and substituting the following subsection:

"(1) If the Secretary is satisfied that 2 people are each qualified under
subsection 954 (2) for child disability allowance for the same young person,
the Secretary is to make a declaration:

   (a)  stating that the Secretary is satisfied that the 2 people are each
        qualified for child disability allowance for the young person; and

   (b)  specifying the share of the child disability allowance for the young
        person that each of the 2 people is to receive.".
