SOCIAL SECURITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1994 No. 63, 1994 - SECT 16

16. Section 1314 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting from subsection (1) "1312" and substituting "1312B";

   (b)  by inserting in paragraph (1)(a) "and for such purposes" after

"persons";

   (c)  by inserting after subsection (1) the following Note:

"Note: A person to whom information is disclosed may commit an offence if the
person uses the information without authority (see section 1312B).";

   (d)  by omitting subsection (4) and substituting the following subsection:



"(3) In disclosing information under paragraph (1)(b), the Secretary must act
in accordance with guidelines from time to time in force under subsection
1315(1).".
