SOCIAL SECURITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1992 No. 229, 1992 - SECT 130

130. Section 1211 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting "513(b), 589(1)(b), 666(1)(h), 729(2)(f)" and substituting
        "513(1)(c), 513(1A)(f), 593(1)(g), 593(2)(g), 666(1)(h), 729(2)(fa)";

   (b)  by omitting from Note 1 "672" and substituting "674";

   (c)  by omitting from Note 1 "if" and substituting "and section 667
        (qualification for sickness allowance when undertaking rehabilitation
        program) if";

   (d)  by adding at the end the following Note:

"Note 3: subsection 729(5) provides that a person is taken to be in Australia
for the purposes of paragraph 729(2)(fa) (qualification for special benefit)
if the person is temporarily absent from Australia due to exceptional
circumstances for a period of 13 weeks or less.".
