SOCIAL SECURITY LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1992 No. 229, 1992 - SECT 145

Power to obtain information from a person who owes a debt to the Commonwealth

145. Section 1305 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (5)
(other than the penalty) and substituting the following subsection:

"(5) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, refuse or fail to comply
with a notice under this section to the extent that the person is capable of
complying with it.".
