SOCIAL SECURITY (POVERTY TRAPS REDUCTION) ACT 1985 No. 169, 1985 - SECT 22

22. Section 115 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting sub-section (1)
and substituting the following sub-section:

"115. (1) In this Division, 'sickness benefit' includes so much of any amount
paid to a person by way of a rehabilitation allowance under Part VIII as, in
the opinion of the Secretary, would have been payable to the person by way of
sickness benefit in respect of a relevant incapacity if that rehabilitation
allowance had not become payable to the person.".
