Power to enter lands and make surveys.
PART III-POWERS OF THE COMMISSION IN RELATION TO LAND
15. (1) The Commission may, for the purpose of ascertaining the suitability of
any land, including land owned or occupied by Australia or a State, for
carrying out the functions of the Commission-
(a) enter upon, and inspect, the land; and
(b) on land so entered, make surveys, take levels, sink bores, dig pits
and examine the soil and do other acts necessary for that purpose.
(2) Before entering upon land in pursuance of sub-section (1), the Commission
shall give notice in writing of its intention to do so to the owner and
occupier of the land.
