TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1997 No. 47 of 1997 - SECT 174

(1) A determination under section 173 relating to a universal service charge
may:

   (a)  prohibit the charge from being imposed or altered without the
        Minister's consent; or

   (b)  prohibit the charge from being imposed or altered without the ACCC's
        consent; or

   (c)  prohibit the charge from being imposed or altered without prior notice
        being given to the Minister; or

   (d)  prohibit the charge from being imposed or altered without prior notice
        being given to the ACCC; or

   (e)  empower the Minister to direct the ACCC to give the Minister such
        reports and advice as the Minister requires for the purposes of
        assisting the Minister in deciding whether to give a consent in
        accordance with the determination.

(2) Subsection (1) does not, by implication, limit section 173.
