TAXATION LAWS AMENDMENT ACT 1984No. 123, 1984 - SECT 337

337. Section 17 of the Principal Act is amended-
(a) by omitting from sub-section (1) "this section" and substituting
"sub-section (2) of this section and section 23";

   (b)  by inserting after sub-section (1) the following sub-section:

"(1A) Subject to sub-section (2) of this section and section 23, additional
charge under section 29 is due and payable on the date specified in the notice
of assessment of the additional charge as the date on which the additional
charge is due and payable."; and

   (c)  by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:

"(3) In sub-section (2), 'charge' includes additional charge under
section 29.".
