TAXATION LAWS AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1985No. 123, 1985 - SECT 17

17. Section 82AAT of the Principal Act is amended -

   (a)  by omitting from sub-section (1) "sub-section (2)" and substituting

"this section";

   (b)  by omitting from sub-section (2) "$1,200" and substituting "$1,500";
        and

   (c)  by adding at the end of the following sub-section: "(3) A deduction is
        not allowable under this section in respect of an amount or amounts
        paid to a fund in a year of income, being the year of income
        commencing on 1 July 1985 or a subsequent year of income, if section
        121CC applies to the fund in relation to the year of income.".
