TELECOMMUNICATIONS (CONSUMER PROTECTION AND SERVICE STANDARDS) ACT 1999 - SECT 36
Public comment--variation of plan
(1) Before giving the Minister a draft variation of a plan under section 35, a
universal service provider must:
(a) publish a preliminary version of the
draft variation and invite members of the public to make submissions to the
provider about the preliminary version within a specified period; and
(b) give consideration to any submissions that were received from members
of the public within that period.
(2) The period specified in the invitation must run for at least 30 days.
(3) This section does not apply to a draft variation given to the Minister in
accordance with a notice under section 38.
