TRADE PRACTICES REVISION ACT 1986 No. 17 of 1986 - SECT 68

68. Section 161 of the Principal Act is amended-

   (a)  by omitting from sub-section (1) "Penalty: $1,000 or imprisonment for
        3 months."; and

   (b)  by adding at the end the following sub-section:

"(3) A person who contravenes sub-section (1) is guilty of an offence
punishable on conviction-

   (a)  in the case of a person not being a body corporate-by a fine not
        exceeding $2,000 or imprisonment for 12 months; or

   (b)  in the case of a person being a body corporate-by a fine not exceeding
        $10,000.".
