Commonwealth Numbered Acts Commonwealth Numbered Acts(1) A reference in this Act to a standard telephone service is a reference to a standard telephone service (within the meaning of section 6 of the Telecommunications (Consumer Protection and Service Standards) Act 1999 ) that has the characteristics (if any) specified in a determination under subsection (2) of this section.
(2) The Minister may, by legislative instrument, determine specified characteristics for the purposes of subsection (1).
