TRADE UNION TRAINING AUTHORITY ACT 1975 No. 50 of 1975 - SECT 17

17. (1) A person appointed to be-

   (a)  a member of the Australian Council in place of the Secretary;

   (b)  the Deputy Chairman of the Australian Council; or

   (c)  the deputy member of the Australian Council in relation to the
        Director of the College, holds office during the pleasure of the
        Minister.

(2) Subject to this Act, a member referred to in paragraph 14 (1) (g), (h) or
(i) holds office for 3 years.

(3) A member or a deputy member of the Australian Council other than such a
member or deputy member in relation to whom sub-section (1) or (2) applies
holds office until he resigns his office or his appointment is terminated in
accordance with section 28.
