A person commits an offence if:

(a) the person uses information for, or in relation to, the supply of a WELS product; and
(b) the information is inconsistent with the information contained in the applicable WELS standard for the product.

Penalty: 60 penalty units.

Subsection (1) is an offence of strict liability.
