- (1)
- If a WELS inspector seizes or secures evidential material on WELS
premises, the WELS inspector must give the occupier of the premises a receipt
for the material.
- (2)
- The Regulator may make copies of the material.
- (3)
- The Regulator may examine or test the material, even though that might
result in damage or destruction of the material or a reduction in its value.
- (4)
- The Regulator must return or release the material when the first of the
following occurs:
(a) the material is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was seized
or secured;
(b) the period of 90 days that begins on the day on which the material was
seized or secured ends.
