WILDLIFE PROTECTION (REGULATION OF EXPORTS AND IMPORTS) AMENDMENT ACT 1986 No. 120 of 1986 - SECT 10

10. Section 29 of the Principal Act is amended -

   (a)  by omitting paragraph (a);

   (b)  by omitting from sub-paragraph (b) (i) "or";

   (c)  by inserting after sub-paragraph (b) (i) the following sub-paragraph:

"(ia) the proposed export would be an inter zoological gardens
transfer;";

   (d)  by adding at the end of paragraph (b) the following word and
subparagraph:

";or (iii) in the case of a live animal, other than a live native
Australian animal, the proposed export would be an
export of a household pet in accordance with section
16A;";

   (e)  by inserting in paragraph (c) "of a species included in the
subphylum
VERTEBRATA" after "animal";

   (f)  by inserting in paragraph (d) "of a species included in the
subphylum
VERTEBRATA" after "animal" (second occurring).
