1981 No. 161 AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL POLICE REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 1

Exemptions in respect of qualifying examinations
1. Regulation 9 of the Australian Federal Police Regulations is amended-

   (a)  by omitting sub-regulation (4); and

   (b)  by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:



"(6) A person who-

   (a)  resigns, or has resigned, from the Australian Federal Police; and

   (b)  after having so resigned, has been, or is, appointed to be a
        non-commissioned officer, being a Constable or Protective Service
        Constable, in pursuance of section 26 of the Act,
is exempted from taking a qualifying examination referred to in Schedule 2 if
he has previously, while a member, or a member of the Commonwealth Police
Force or the Police Force of the Australian Capital Territory, passed an
examination that the Examination Committee determines to be the equivalent of
that qualifying examination.".
