1984 No. 205 AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL POLICE (DISCIPLINE) REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 2

2. Regulation 22 of the Principal Regulations is amended-

   (a)  by omitting from sub-regulation (1) "has determined that a member is
        guilty of a disciplinary offence or the Disciplinary Tribunal has
        remitted proceedings to the Commissioner under paragraph 67 (3) (b) of
        the Complaints Act" and substituting "has, under regulation 21,
        determined that a member is guilty of a disciplinary offence";

   (b)  by inserting before paragraph (1) (a) the following paragraph:



"(aa) admonish the member;"; and

   (c)  by inserting after sub-regulation (1A) the following sub-regulation:



"(1B) Where-

   (a)  a member is reduced to a lower grade within the rank that he is
        holding or to a lower rank or a grade within a lower rank; and

   (b)  salary is payable to members holding that lower grade, lower rank or
        grade within that lower rank (as the case may be) in accordance with a
        scale of rates,
the Commissioner shall determine the rate, being a rate included in that scale
of rates, at which salary is to be paid to the member.".
