Joint inquiries
18. (1) The ACCC may conduct a joint inquiry into 2 or more disputes if it
considers that it is appropriate to do so because:
(a) the disputes involve sufficiently similar issues; and
(b) the complainant in each dispute is the same person.
(2) For the purposes of paragraph (1) (b), complainants that are bodies
corporate that, under section 50 of the Corporations Law, are related to each
other are taken to be the same person.
(3) If the ACCC conducts a joint inquiry, the ACCC must make separate
recommendations in relation to each dispute dealt with at the inquiry.
