1988 NO. 158 CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS - REG 149

Towing
149. (1) Subject to this regulation, the pilot in command of an aircraft in
flight shall not permit anything to be towed by such aircraft except with the
permission of the Authority and in accordance with the Authority's directions.

(2) Nothing in this regulation shall prevent the reasonable use or display
from an aircraft in flight of radio aerials, or any signal apparatus,
equipment or article required or permitted to be displayed or used by or from
an aircraft in flight in accordance with the rules contained in the provisions
of this Division and in the provisions of Parts XI and XII.

(3) Instruments for experimental purposes may be towed if the prior approval
of the Authority has been given.
