1988 NO. 158 CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS - REG 156

Flying over public gatherings
156. (1) Except with the permission, in writing, of the Authority and in
accordance with the conditions specified in the permit, an aircraft shall not
be flown over any regatta, race meeting or public gathering.

(2) Nothing in subregulation (1) shall apply to an aircraft passing over a
regatta, race meeting or public gathering in the process of:

   (a)  arriving at or departing from an aerodrome in the course of its normal
        navigation for so doing; or

   (b)  passing from place to place in the ordinary course of navigation.
