1988 NO. 158 CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS - REG 236

Flight under Visual Flight Rules
236. An aircraft shall not take off for the purpose of making a flight under
the Visual Flight Rules unless current meteorological reports, or a
combination of current meteorological reports, and forecasts, show that the
meteorological conditions along the route to be flown are and will be such
that the flight will be conducted under the Visual Flight Rules and will be
completed before night after making any allowance specified by the Authority
in Aeronautical Information Publications.
