1988 NO. 158 CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS - REG 33
Testing of competency of holder of licence
33. (1) The Authority may, at any time, require the holder of an aircraft
maintenance engineer licence to undergo an examination designed to test his or
her competency as such a holder.
(2) An authorised person may, at any time, inspect an aircraft or aircraft
component for the purpose of ascertaining the competence and diligence of the
holder of an aircraft maintenance engineer licence.
