45. (1) Where the Authority is satisfied that a condition set out in, or
applying in relation to, a maintenance release has not been complied with, the
Authority may suspend or cancel the maintenance release.

(2) A suspension or cancellation of a maintenance release under this
regulation does not have effect in relation to a person until a notification
of the suspension or cancellation has been served by post on the person or the
fact of the suspension or cancellation has otherwise been brought to his or
her attention.
