1988 NO. 158 CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS - REG 61

61. An applicant for the grant of a licence under this Part or for the
endorsement of a rating on such a licence may be required by an authorised
person to produce satisfactory proof of his or her identity immediately prior
to:

   (a)  undergoing an examination; or

   (b)  the grant of the licence or the endorsement of the rating on the
        licence.
