1991 No. 487 CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 33

  33.1   Omit "Notwithstanding regulation 225 or regulation 230", substitute
"In spite of regulations 225 and 230 and subregulation (2)".
  33.2   Add at the end:


"(2) A person who is the holder of the certificate of registration for, or the
operator, hirer or pilot in command of, an Australian aircraft must not permit
a person to manipulate the propeller of the aircraft to start the engine
unless the first-mentioned person is satisfied that the person who is to
manipulate the propeller knows the correct starting procedures for the
aircraft. Penalty for contravention of this subregulation: $2,500.".
