1980 No. 358 CUSTOMS (PROHIBITED EXPORTS) REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 1

1. Regulation 5 of the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations is amended by
omitting sub-regulation (1) and substituting the following sub-regulation:

"(1) A reference in this regulation to an authorized officer shall be read as
a reference to a person who is-

   (a)  an officer or employee of the public service of the Commonwealth, a
        State or the Northern Territory; or

   (b)  an officer of, or employed by, an authority of the Commonwealth, a
        State or the Northern Territory, being a person authorized in writing
        by the Minister of State for Primary Industry to approve, for the
        purposes of these Regulations, the exportation of goods specified in
        the Third Schedule.".
