  3.1   Subregulation 23AA (1):

Omit "made", substitute "given under subregulation 36 (1)".
  3.2   After subregulation 23AA (1), insert:


"(1A) An authority given under section 39 of the Act for goods to be dealt
with in accordance with an entry given under regulation 36A by means of the
COMPILE 3 computer system must:

   (a)  be given by means of that system to the COMPILE 3 user whose personal
        user identification number was given with the entry; and

   (b)  set out:

        (i)    the name of the owner of the goods; and

        (ii)   the name of any customs agent, within the meaning of subsection
               180 (1) of the Act, of the owner of the goods; and

        (iii)  the entry number given by Customs for the entry; and

        (iv)   if the authority is given subject to a condition referred to in
               subsection 39 (2) of the Act-that condition; and

        (vii)  the date on which the authority is given.".
