CORPORATIONS REGULATIONS 2001 2001 No. 193 - REG 8.7.01
Prescribed particulars in respect of transmission and execution of orders
For subsection 1266 (7) of the Act:
- (a)
- a futures broker must keep
instructions by a client to deal in futures contracts separately from
instructions to deal in futures contracts on the broker's own account; and
- (b)
- the prescribed particulars of instructions by a client to deal in futures
contracts are short particulars of the matters mentioned in paragraphs 1266
(7) (a), (b) and (c) of the Act; and
- (c)
- the prescribed particulars of instructions to deal in futures contracts on
the broker's own account are short particulars of the matters mentioned in
paragraphs 1266 (7) (d) and (e) of the Act; and
- (d)
- the prescribed period is 7 years.
