CORPORATIONS REGULATIONS 2001 2001 No. 193 - REG 8.7.02
Futures brokers that are banks credit to employees to deal in futures contracts
Subsection 1267 (4) of the Act does not have effect in relation to a bank that
is a futures broker or a futures adviser only because the bank gives credit to
an employee of the bank if:
- (a)
- the credit is given for the purpose of
enabling or assisting the employee to deal in futures contracts; or
- (b)
- the bank knows or has reason to believe that the credit will be used by
the employee for that purpose.
