CORPORATIONS REGULATIONS 2001 2001 No. 193 - REG 8.7.02

Futures brokers that are banks — credit to employees to deal in futures contracts
Subsection 1267 (4) of the Act does not have effect in relation to a bank that is a futures broker or a futures adviser only because the bank gives credit to an employee of the bank if:

(a)
the credit is given for the purpose of enabling or assisting the employee to deal in futures contracts; or

(b)
the bank knows or has reason to believe that the credit will be used by the employee for that purpose.
