Commonwealth Numbered Regulations Commonwealth Numbered Regulations(1) If a user receives a copy of a notice of claimed infringement from a carriage service provider under section 25, the user may give a counter-notice to the carriage service provider's designated representative disputing the claims set out in the notice.
Note: If the user does not give a counter-notice to the carriage service provider's designated representative, the carriage service provider is not required to take any further action in relation to the notice of claimed infringement.
(2) The counter-notice must:
(a) be in accordance with the form set out in Part 4 of Schedule 2; and
(b) be given within 3 months after the user receives the copy of the notice of claimed infringement.
