1983 No. 25 COTTON RESEARCH REGULATIONS - REG 3

3. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears-

"authorized agent" means a person appointed by a processor under regulation 6
to be an authorized agent;

"the Act" means the Cotton Research Act 1982;

"the Secretary" means the person for the time being occupying, or acting in,
the office the holder of which is, under the Public Service Act 1922, the
Permanent Head of the Department.
