1984 No. 287 ELECTORAL AND REFERENDUM REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 2

2. Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from
sub-regulation (1) the definition of "referendum" and substituting the
following definitions:



" 'referendum' has the same meaning as in the Referendum (Machinery
Provisions) Act;

" 'Referendum (Machinery Provisions) Act' means the Referendum (Machinery 
Provisions) Act 1984 ;".
