6. (1) For the purposes of subsection 69 (1) of the Act, the amount of
$1,900,000,000 is prescribed.

(2) In calculating, for the purposes of section 69 of the Act, the total
amount of money lent by EFIC under Part 4 of the Act and not repaid or written
off, an amount of money lent in foreign currency must be expressed in
Australian currency by applying the relevant rate of exchange that prevailed
on the date when the amount of money was lent.
