1979 No. 58 EXPORTS (FRESH FRUIT) REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 3

3. The Second Schedule to the Exports (Fresh Fruit) Regulations is amended by
omitting paragraph 3 and substituting the following paragraph:

" 3. (1) Subject to these Regulations, a kind of fruit may be packed only in
packages of dimensions specified in column 2 of the following table opposite a
reference in column 3 of that table to that kind of fruit or to a class of
fruit that includes that kind of fruit:

" (2) In these Regulations, a reference to a package by a description
specified in column 1 of the table in sub-paragraph (1) shall be taken to be a
reference to a package of the dimensions specified in column 2 of that table
opposite that description.

" (3) Wooden packages, other than half packages and bulk bins, intended for
export to a destination not in the United Kingdom or the continent of Europe,
shall be bound securely with wire approximately 25 millimetres from each
end.".
