ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION REGULATIONS 2000 2000 NO. 181 - REG 11.13
Revocation of town plan
- (1)
- The Director may revoke a town plan that has been approved under
regulation 11.10 (an approved town plan ) if:
- (a)
- the management plan for
the Commonwealth reserve no longer provides for an approved town plan; or
- (b)
- because of changed circumstances, an approved town plan is no longer
necessary.
- (2)
- Before revoking an approved town plan, the Director must:
- (a)
- by notice
published in a newspaper circulating in the area affected by the approved town
plan, invite interested persons to make representations about the proposed
revocation by the date specified in the notice; and
- (b)
- give due consideration to any representations made; and
- (c)
- tell the Minister about the proposed revocation and give the Minister any
representations made.
