- (1)
- A holder of a permit to which paragraph 17.01 (b) or (c) applies may
authorise a person to take an action under the permit.
- (2)
- An authority may
be given only if:
- (a)
- it is in writing; and
- (b)
- the permit has a condition that allows a holder of the permit to give an
authority; and
- (c)
- it is given in accordance with the condition; and
- (d)
- for a permit to which paragraph 17.01 (c) applies
paragraphs 17.03 (2) (b), (c) and (d) will continue to be satisfied
if the authority is given.
- (3)
- A permit is taken to allow an action that is taken by an authorised person
in accordance with an authority.
- (4)
- A holder of a permit may also take an action for which the holder has
authorised another person.
- (5)
- A person who gives an authority under this regulation must, within 14 days
after giving the authority, give written notice of it to:
- (a)
- for a permit
issued by the Minister the Minister; or
- (b)
- for a permit issued by the Director the Director.
Penalty:
20 penalty units.
