FEDERAL COURT (BANKRUPTCY) RULES 2005 (SLI NO 341 OF 2005) - REG 1.04

         (1)   In these Rules, unless the contrary intention appears:

"Act" means the Federal Court of Australia Act 1976 .

"Bankruptcy Act" means the Bankruptcy Act 1966 .

"bankruptcy notice" means a bankruptcy notice issued by the Official Receiver under section 41 of the Bankruptcy Act.

"Bankruptcy Regulations" means the Bankruptcy Regulations 1996 .

         (2)   Unless the contrary intention appears, an expression used in these Rules and in Order 1, rule 4 of the Federal Court Rules has the same meaning in these Rules as it has in that rule.

         (3)   Subrule (2) has effect subject to rule 1.05.
