Parent Engagement Campaign |
To deliver a communication campaign: (a) to raise awareness of the importance of parent engagement in children's education, and the significant benefits that this brings; and (b) to inform parents about, and assist parents with, different ways of engaging in their child's education. This objective also has the effect it would have if it were limited to delivering a communication campaign: (a) using postal, telegraphic, telephonic, and other like services; or (b) for the collection, compilation, analysis and dissemination of statistics and related information; or (c) in connection with assisting Australia to meet its obligations under international agreements, including the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights; or (d) in the exercise of the executive power of the Commonwealth. |
