Insert:

Sustainable Rural Water Use and Infrastructure Program

To support activities relating to the implementation of the Basin Plan 2012 by funding:

(a) the recovery of environmental water from the Basin water resources through the funding of irrigation infrastructure programs and the purchase of water access entitlements to implement long-term average sustainable diversion limits; and

(b) measures to protect and restore environmental assets of the Murray-Darling Basin, or to assist in achieving the Basin Plan environmental outcomes relating to ecosystem function, biodiversity, water quality and salinity and water resource health; and

(c) the compilation and online publication of information relating to the market price of water entitlements in the Murray-Darling Basin.

This objective also has the effect it would have if it were limited to:

(a) making grants of financial assistance to States and Territories; or

(b) funding activities done for the collection, compilation, analysis and dissemination of statistics and related information; or

(c) funding activities done to give effect to Australia's obligations under the international treaties referred to in the definition of relevant international agreement in subsection 4(1) of the Water Act 2007 .

Dairy Australia--Tactics for Tight Times

To provide funding to Dairy Australia Limited for the provision of information, services and activities to assist dairy farmers in dealing with challenging conditions in the dairy market.

This objective also has the effect it would have if it were limited to providing assistance:

(a) for activities relating to trade and commerce with other countries, or among the States and Territories; or

(b) in or in relation to a Territory; or

(c) to meet Australia's international obligations under the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, particularly Article 11; or

(d) for measures that are peculiarly adapted to the government of a nation and cannot otherwise be carried on for the benefit of the nation; or

(e) through the delivery of information and services online.
